“Gregory House Programs’ mission is one I deeply believe in,” shared Robin P., nurse practitioner at Islands Hospice on Oʻahu. “This organization holds a very personal place in my heart. I’ve seen firsthand the difference they make in people’s lives and the stability and hope they provide.”

Robin selected Gregory House Programs as the recipient of this quarter’s $5,000 Makana Pono donation. A dedicated board member for more than five years, he proudly supports the organization’s mission to provide housing assistance and supportive services for people in Hawaiʻi, particularly individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Gregory House Programs helps individuals achieve stability and independence through emergency and permanent housing, case management, nutrition services and life skills training. Their work creates a compassionate support system for vulnerable members of our community, helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and care.

Robin’s commitment to service extends far beyond his work at Islands Hospice. In addition to serving on the Gregory House Programs board, he has participated in the Honolulu AIDS Walk through the Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center for more than 20 years, supporting awareness, advocacy and care for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Hawaiʻi.

Mahalo, Robin, for choosing an organization that provides hope, stability and support for our community, and for the care and dedication you bring to Islands Hospice each day.
