Kelci Schedler has been an RN case manager for Islands Hospice West Oahu for the past four years. Always leading by example, Kelci’s compassion carries over from her work as an RN to the community and was selected to receive the August Makana Pono award. She directed her $5,000 donation to Ma Ke Alo o (MKAO), an organization she has been involved with over the past three years as the lead for its Kakaako Kupuna initiative.

Makana Pono: Employee Giving Program

Stacie McCabe was nominated by her Islands Hospice colleagues as the July Makana Pono awardee. She directed her $5,000 award to the R.A.M. program at Windward Baptist Church. The R.A.M. program was created in 2005 to help those struggling with addictions, especially crystal methamphetamine, through the power of faith. Islands Hospice is pleased to support the R.A.M program and recognize the work of Windward Baptist Church is doing to care for members of our community who are working towards healing.
